Mansplainer Song

There’s been a term on social media that’s being tossed around, Mansplainer, this term has been used to refer to men who try to explain things to women that they think they know more about then they do. Anyway, there’s also a 1980’s hit called Maneater, made by Hall and Oats. There was an idea tossed around by Kevin about a parody video, called Mansplainer. The Enchanted Wood

I wasn’t sure we were going to LARP for the final week of Geek Camp, but by popular demand we will … even (or especially) if it rains. A sacred artifact, lost for generations, is rumored to have resurfaced. This artifact holds the key who emerges as the power after the upheaval. There are four key locations in our LARP-ing world: Waterdeep—Also known as the City of Splendors, Waterdeep is a port city that is a dominant political power...

Slow mo and geeky challenges

Tuesday, a group had the opportunity to experiment with video captured at a high frame rate (240 fps). With that footage, they created a montage of clips with incredibly smooth slo motion, including some with added backwards motion effects. Jump In The Air | Slo Mo ended up being very popular among campers. Campers also revisited a challenge taken on last year, in which multiple groups capture random footage and switch clips, having to edit them together in a way that makes sense. This resulted in two...
